please never reply to a mail, change the subject and write a complete new email. This week at minimum three guys do this!
If you reply to an email then a reference to the old email and all references in the old email are included into the header of this new email. The result is that the complete thread management of the mail clients which support thread management fails.
The worst case is that we ignore mails because we don't see them because they are in a thread which is marked as solved.
