Hmmmm...not even when I have the ca on another IP address aka machine? I feel confused... Let me think about it... (of course you all may interrupt my thinking with helpful remarks... :)
The web-host or any other server name is only used for ldap, mails and certificates. They are never used for links on web interfaces. So there is no reason why you should ever enter the name or the IP of a CA server for a configuration option.
