I think not everyone is reading the OpenSSL-dev mailing list. So I have to mail this general warning:
Please don't use OpenCA with OpenSSL 0.9.7d. OpenCA's own signing tool openca-sv does not work with OpenSL 0.9.7d because this OpenSSL version includes a bug. If you have to upgrade to OpenSSL 0.9.7 because of security reasons then please apply the patch for the corrupted PKCS#7 stuff before compiling OpenSSL 0.9.7d. The patch can be found at:
