I have a dude, when I use ldap, openca storage all certificate in ldap database?
How can I setup openca to use only ldap database, because openca's db files (text) are very slow. It's possible? Which is the way to compile openca to do this?

lissen ;o) - ldap is used to publish certificates - so there will be only certificates and crls at the ldap - for looking of which certs a pki has issued...

there is usage of an database for all internal stuff, like storing requests, old certificates, and so on - which is not publicable used, but internal this can't be changed at the momment to use ldap

but - there are two options, you can use flat-file-based-'db's or a real dbms like mysql or postgresql as the internal database, you have to setup this during compile/install for 0.9.1.8 and after install for 0.9.2 which db-interface is used - txt-based or a real dbms...

and what do you mean by slow?
