the idea is: you are using a broken openssl 0.9.7d there is the pkcs#7 packaged not working
use cvs version or downgrade or apply the patch ( i send the link later, but should several times on the list archive just dont find it right now ;o)
at least this was the original patch - just 10days after the release of 0.9.7d
