thanks for your response. I read the topic about using "the certificate can identify 
mail users" and set it already, although this error should just at Firefox. I'm using 
Mozilla 1.7.2, which I understand doesn't need this checkbox. Anyway, I tried it. I 
checked all tree possibilities (just to be sure), but strange is: when I look at the 
certificate, it sais "trusted for SSL". No more lines. Just this one. I doesn't 
matter, if I say "trust for e-mail-signing". This is a bit strange, I think. Maybe the 
CA-cert has the wrong extensions (I left them to what OpenCA brings).

As I mentioned, I'm using RC5, this issue may be fixed with RC6 already.
