Hi Oli,
bpIssueCert and bpRevokeCert are now available at the CA too. ACL is fixed too. If you like another position in the menu or another text then simply change it and please don't forget to do it in openca_0_9_2 and CVS_HEAD.

I want to make another suggestion :)
a) For maintenance issues the split into different "interfaces" is a god idea
b) For Users the new conecpt is a nightmare :P
It's a nighmare for me too that you stealth general stuff in such a thread ;-D
... but I think that the observation is correct.
I have build a menu.xml so that all "often used" functions are in a "Quicklinks" Men Tab - this Tab is cross-interfaces, so I have LDAP, RA, CA; batch funtions in it - at the moment there is an overhead to track this menu, because I have to add the "Quicklink" Section to either interface.
So, Idea:
Allow to add a menu section that is displayed on all (or better, a subset) of interfaces - so the technical detail of the interface concet is totally hidden for the user.
Ok, sounds like a common section with a group membership. I don't like to setup a complex UID/GID scheme like under Unix only for the interfaces. So would recommend you to develop something like this:
<common_interface>
<spec>
<member>ca</member>
<member>ra</member>
<menu>...</menu>
</spec>
<spec>
...
</spec>
</common_interface>Perhaps we have to rename spec and common_interface but the major problem is that you must reduce the length of this section to a minimum. The most users don't accept menus which need 5 seconds to be created.
Within this issue there is another anoying problem (at least was until RC4, havent tried since then) - everytime I change between interfaces I must perform a new login - this means for issuiing a single cerifcate about 7 logins (RA, RA node, CA node, CA and back). I think we should try to ktrack a login session via the interfaces and do a sort of "autologin" to the interfaces.
This requires a central user configuration. We can discuss such things next monday.
If you start working on these issue please do it on CVS_HEAD. Don't do this at openca_0_9_2.
