Hi all,

I am forwarding the request about scalability issues in requests listing.
Is there anyone who is actually facing problems with high number of requests
and/or certificates in using OpenCA 0.9.2 ?

Hello,

I administer the CA for the UK e-Science community. We are still using
OpenCA 0.6.22 and have been for some years now, and now we are now in the
process of migrating to 0.9.2.

In our old system we have the order of 1600 valid certificates belonging to
academics throughout the UK and I have written a Java based migration
program which migrates the old OpenCA BDB database to the new OpenCA
relational database.

I am interested in scalability issues with OpenCA as the number of e-Science
certificates can potentially increase tenfold. I will be interested to know
if anyone is administering OpenCA with a large number of certificates - are
there any speed issues?

On our test machine with a migrated OpenCA database, listing the
certificates through the web interface seems fast enough but listing through
requests is unacceptably slow, and this will certainly become a problem as
the database grows.

Regards,

Matt
