I did actually. If I use either CA.pl or CA.sh I can create certificates with 
the CN component of the Subject as CN=Lastname, Firstname MI. I have not made 
it through all of the related TechNet articles mentioned in the Users Guide 
yet. I keep hoping I've simply overlooked something somewhere.

However, with the certificate I issued from CA.sh installed the wireless 
authentication subsystem poped up a dialog asking which certificate I wanted to 
use to authenticate. With the certificate issed from OpenCA, with RFC2253 
escaping, all  I got was a popup saying Windows couldn't find a certificate to 
authenticate to network X.

I was hoping someone else had done this before and could point out my obvious 
mistake. I'd have even settled for an RTFM. Oh, well.
