Hello,

I'm using mysql 4.0.15 from conectiva's rpms.
I followed Kevin Mitcham's cookbook and here is my database status.

DB openca (CA):

ca_certificate: I have my ac root certificate

certificate: 1 certificate with role CA operator
1 certificate with role RA operator

crl: empty

crr: empty

request: 1 certificate with role CA operator
1 certificate with role RA operator

DB openra (RA):

ca_certificate: empty

certificate: empty

crl: empty

crr: empty

request: 1 user certificate requested by SPAK (firefox 1.0)
1 user certificate requested by IE

Is that status OK?
the table ca_certificate in db openra really must be empty?

thank you,
Pedro Burjack

Hello Pedro,

Are you using a DBMS? Check if your database has the
CA Certificate and the Certificate for your RA
Operator. I had a similar problem and it was because I
didn't have those certificates in the database.

Hope this helps,
Johnny

Hi, my name is Pedro Burjack
I'm using openca 0.9.2.1, perl 5.8.3, openssl 0.9.7,
operating system Conectiva Linux 10,
and I'm trying to generate a user certificate using
Firefox 1.0.
When I use the Active CSR on RA to approve the
request, the system show this error:

OpenCA: General error trapped 700: The compilation
of the command cmdViewCSR failed. Can't use an undefined value as a
HASH reference at

/usr/local/openra/openca/lib/functions/crypto-utils.lib

line 1149.<br>
Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/openra/openca/etc/openca_start line 62.

Can anybody helps me?

Thank you
