to backup/restore a single OpenCA installation (all-on-one-node) you can do the following:

- archive etc/ and var/crypto
- export database contents

Restore the resulting stuff to the target and you are all set.
I've been doing this successfully with our production systems.

We have two nodes: online and offline, do i need one backup for each of them the way you do for the all-in-one-node?
