now, we have the problem ;)
configuration doesn't export the ca-certs and crls (i think)
you should use ALL

Sorry, with this message I do not announce succes yet :-\

[...]

So how can I have an archive containing the ca certificate?

Everything is fine now. This story ends :-)

The last problematic point was that the dataexchange configurations of
both the CA and the RA were not correct.

So I did edit the file openca/etc/config.xml for both the CA and RA
servers and have de-commented respectively the configuration parts
"1. the node acts as CA only" and "2. the node acts as RA only".

I then rerun openca/etc/configure_etc.sh and restart the two servers.

This time the exported archive was containing the CA cert, and when
the archive was imported into the RA through the command
"Download data from a higher level of the hierarchy -> All"
the CA cert trully appeared on the RA filesystem.

With the CA cert rightly being on the RA server, consulting a CSR is
now done without any error message.

Thanks a lot for your support,
