Hi.
I have installed openca on my preferred host. I followed the howto of
http://www.openca.info/docs/howto/dartmouth.txt.

When I generated my first user certificate I got following in the RA
Error 700
General Error The compilation of the command cmdViewCSR failed. Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at /usr/local/openra/openca/lib/functions/crypto-utils.lib line 1149.

when I RA-> Active CSRs-> NEW-> search-> click serial no.

I could fix this problem by copying var/crypto/cacert from CA to RA.

But there must be something still wrong.
When I export the request from the RA-node and import into CA-node (via /dev/fd0) I get no errors. But when I then want to approve the Cert in the CA there is no Cert to approve in the list!

When I `tar tf /dev/fd0` after export I only get an empty file-tree with no files in it.

I have installed the current stable openca 0.9.2.2 on
debian sarge. For all configuration I followed the howto.
Only thing I did not was the dataexchange config like in the howto.

I want to use openca for some tests with ocsp etc. Because I have not enough hosts in my private test net I installed RA and CA on one single host. (For my tests I will not care about pki security!).

In other replies I read, that above error can result in an wrong dataexchange-config? I did not change that, so I have configguration 0. I did that because comments said that it would make (only) sense for an all in one box configuration. And I exaclty have that? Is there another way how I have to configure dataexchange with RA,CA,PUB on one single box?

Any suggestions, what there could be wrong and how to fix it?

B.Henne
