I've found the solution for my problem :) My request was malformed, the ocsp toolkit needs the -CAfile argument to work.
$openssl ocsp -issuer [CA_CERT] -cert [CERT_TO_VERIFY] -CAfile [CA_CERT] -url [OCSP_URL:PORT] -text if anyone has the same problem, perhaps this thread would help ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------ J.
