But I have got a problem with key generation with Windows 2000:
the only choice I have got for "Cryptographic device" is "Default". I
don't see the normal list with Microsoft cryptographic services and the
Schlumberger Cryptographic Service Provider that I am using.
It looks like the list is not updated properly in OpenCA. I tried 2
differents Windows 2000 stations with the same results.

So, is that a bug in OpenCA code or is that a problem with Windows 2000?

This is no OpenCA Bug - OpenCA only adresses the Browsers Keystore and the OS/Browser is responsbile for lsiting them. This problem was discussed very often on the list, try the search teh archives for it. I think you must update your Encryption Pack or install the Schlumberger Drivers yoursefl because the Card is not known by your Crytpo API
