after doing an update db i can not locate openca-scep on my system. How can i add it . I have a look on this directory /usr/local/openra/bin. it contains a lo of openca command but not openca-scep(openca-addcert,openca-backup,openca-browserexp  etc). So tell me how can I add it because in the stderr.log i have an error refers to openca-scep. So it's important.

As root run 'updatedb' after that 'locate openca-scep'. It is usually in
/usr/local/openca/...

After you found it you can check it with 'file openca-scep'. It displays
an output like:

ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux
2.4.1, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), not stripped

if there is the word dynamically linked in it, it's dynamically linked ;)

Another option is 'ldd openca-scep'. If it displays something like:

linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0xb7e3c000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7f7a000)

then it's dynamically linked.

Greetings,

Georg
