In the doc there is a section dedicated to configure OpenCA to use
the new dc style naming scheme:
http://www.openca.info/docs/guide/html_chunked/ch04s05.html#id2543860

It seems the parts about modifying "main.html", "certsMail.txt" and
"expiringMail.txt" are out-dated as I haven't found any files with those
exact or similar names both in the source or deployed files. Could
someone confirm this please?

On the other hand the section about modifying the
"OpenSSL configuration" is really too scarce. I have created some
OpenSSL configurations myself before using OpenCA but that don't make
me able to modify the OpenCA stock OpenSSL configuration. I know that
there are @xxx@ strings to change, but I don't know with which new
variable names I should change them.

I have search the mailing list archive and the web about this dc style
configuration with only finding people asking for more information on
the subject. I would gladly contribute to the doc should someone
describe more precisely how the openssl.cnf.template file is to be
modified.

Forget about this call for help. I have written a full detailed
explanation of how to procede.

I will post it here or get it into the doc ASAP.

Cheers,
