Hello again,
indeed: after some googling and some more testing, it seems to be an
issue to mozilla/firefox.
What a shame: Using the same certificate for signing at the RA works
with the "beloved" IE :(
I can remember that the versions of firefox some month ago worked fine!
(by the way: also the firefox under windows does not work)
