Christopher,
you are using OpenSource and not some commercial product. Keep this in
mind. All work done here is for free and if you don't understand
something, then your best bet is to "Use the source, Luke".
If it doesn't do what you expect it to do, then fix it in the source.
If you don't like this, buy some commercial software.
