it does not seem a permission problem since even
setting permission of the /opt/openca/OpenCA/var/log/xml/time/ directory to 777
I still got the same problem :-(

        General Error addMessage failed for log slot xml (6512032). Cannot create directory /opt/openca/OpenCA/var/log/xml/time/2006
