Hi,

Some Time ago there was the question howto receive certs via LDAP by Thunderbird-Adressbook. I´m sorry but don´t now how to answer directly to that thread:

"Re: [Openca-Users] LDAP-Problem with RA

//

I´ve solved this haphazardly via setting the option

SET_CERTIFICATE_SERIAL_IN_DN "N"

in several ../etc/servers/*.conf files. (this was purposed to get the cisco Pix working with SCEP, does anybody now how to change the CSR in a Pix for own requirements, i.e. ou=...?). This also makes OpenCA get rid of the double entries in the Directorytree, some Outlook-Users were complaining about. Does anybody now how to put self-created certificates into the slot for "digital IDs" in Outlook?
Now I'am able to receive certs directly from Thunderbird-Adressbook. :-)

Best Regards
Bjoern Rode
