well i can suggest 2 things: - configure your syslog. i don't know, if openca generally stops operation, if it can't log - what openssl version are you using? 0.9.7d has a bug additionally, if i remember right, there are openca version, which have bugs regarding pkcs7 signatures... do you use the latest version?
