Each interface in OpenCA uses its internal access control, in this case
the node interface is configured to use (probably) the ssl protocol
while you are trying to access using the http one. Check the installation
for the node.xml.template and edit it ( if you put .* as the protocol
any protocol will be allowed - in general this is a bad idea, but for
testing it it might be ok). The file should be located in the
etc/access_control subdirectory of the installed package (remember to
use the configure_etc.sh script after you modify the templates).

When I try to access it via https - https://myhost/node, it won't connect, saying: "The connection refused when attempting to contact myhost"
Both http and https are running (on ports 80 and 443 appropriately).

Check for network and apache settings, this is related to the web server
and not to OpenCA - have you setup it correctly ? Is the server listening
to the 443 port ? Is the firewall (if any) accepting connection on that
port ?
