Usually the Serial Number is not something you let the user choose, and in
OpenCA this is not possible unless you modify the index file with the serial
number you want to use just before issuing the certificate. Remember, anyway,
that you SHOULD NOT use the same serial number for different certificates
(this is deprecated by the IETF standards, i.e. RFC-3280) because it is
used (together with the issuer field of a certificate) to uniquely identify
it.
