I'm trying to modify the generation of the certificate's serial number. The serial which I want to add to the certificate comes from a sequence in the database. The problem is that I have modified all the files where obtained "sslserial" property which contains the path of serial file from where the number of the certificate is obtained, however, it does not generate the certificate to me because in the index.txt file of …/var/crypto it is still taking the value that it extracts of the serial file.
The question is: where can I find the code for -adds the new line about certificate in the index.txt file, so, where is it added a line like this:
V 070915190530Z 5E unknown /C=VE/O=FII/OU=FII/CN=Carlos Marino/GN=natural/street=Los Teques - WEB: http://192.168.8.76/ra/title=11820366/serialNumber=80
The serial number = 80 is the sequence from the database, but 5E is the number from serial file. Where can I find the code to modify the construction of this line, just to modify the way to read the serial number.
