Hi,

I have successfully installed OpenCA in Linux Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) and
configured it in such a way that

all the interfaces (CA, RA, Node, Public, LDAP, Batch) are locally in my
PC (for learning purposes).

My database (locally too) is PostgreSQL and is initialized properly.

I follow this procedure : I create my CA (self - signed) and produce a
certificate for an end user, signed from this CA, which is installed
into the client's browser.

My question is : Is there a way of batch certificate production from my
CA (e.g. 1000 certs) so as my potential clients can pick them (following
the corresponding requests of course) from the Public Interface ?

If there is a known way please send your exact procedural steps.

I cannot, for now, understand much for the functionality of the Batch
interface. Also the manual hasn't an exact way of producing states and
functions and hoe to use them for the OpenCA's state machine.
