I don't have a suggestion for this particular problem but, just in case you
don't know this, there is an step-by-step installation 'cookbook' for a
CA/RA installation on one machine. Search the OpenCA user archive for
'cookbook'. Perhaps this will reveal a configuration error.

Subject: [Openca-Users] Problem in importing the configuration from a higher
level

Hi all,

I'm trying to install OpenCA on the same machine but with two different
interfaces and paths for the CA and RA.

I have a problem in the RA initialization and I don't know anymore where to
search. After having done initialzation of the CA (phase I, II and III), I'm
trying to import the configuration of the CA.

In doing this operation I have this message:

"Cannot change directory to /.../var/tmp/tmp_19095/Configuration!"

At any new try, the number of tmp_... increase

Apparently there is a problem in where the configuration is stored and it
seemed I have missed something. When I export the certificate in the phase I
of CA Initialization, the certificate is stored in the file "ra-local".

In addition, I don't know how to export the whole configuration of the CA.
Because when I'm on CA interface and I click on "Node Management"->
"Administration"->"Dataexchange" and "Enroll data to a lower level" the
interface switch in the RA mode and when I do this step, I think that the
data that is enrolled is RA data and non CA data as desired.

Thanks for any advice
Sam
