I guess I have the same problem - when I try to run openca_start as user
openca. I now recall this problem during installation and worked around it
by running as root. I don't have too much problem doing this because the
hosts are dedicated to OpenCA.

Well, I must not be living right.  Now I do not get a stderr.log and I was a
few days ago.  Also, should ~/OpenCA/etc have the openca user as the owner
for it and downlevel?
