Hi,

as some of you wonder about the OpenCA Digisign, here it is the news. The
OpenCA PKI as it is now has a quite old design and, although it works quite
well and has a lot of very nice features, we think it is time to start a
new project that will incorporate all the learned lessons from OpenCA PKI
and will push more on usability features.

The project will officially start as a new project under the OpenCA Labs
umbrella on March - and we will partnership with DigiSign to provide full
support (also commercial if needed) for the OpenCA-Digisign project.

Of course the project will have the same license as the OpenCA PKI project
has, but the codebase will be totally different. We will design the new
project in order to have it (1) more modular; (2) based on libPKI ; (3) more
usable both for the user and for the PKI managers.

Anyhow, the project has not started yet - when we will be actively working
on it, we will make all the announcements... so.. stay tuned :D

Later,
Max
