I guess what I need is an explanation of the relationship between:

menu.xml(.template)

and the various menu templates under subdirectory menus.

because it seems that menu.xml is never read and this is the file that had
the logo definition in it. This file is also never published to the
website so it would never be used for web pages.

Subject
[Openca-Users] Corporate branding and OpenCA menus

Hi all,

This is really stupid but I can't figure it out...

I define logo_left within config.xml and also in menu.xml.template.
However, that bit of info doesn't get populated into menus/pub-menu.xml or
into menu.xml on the web site. So I copied the logo definition stuff from
menu.xml.template and added it to the top of menus/pub-menu.xml (not sure
why I would have to do that - basically putting the same info in 2
different places). Then I run configure_etc.sh and restart the openca
daemons, it now gets published to menu.xml under apache's website but
doesn't show up when I view the page in IE.

Does any of this make any sense?
