Hello.

I have big troubles with generating certification requests on Windows
Vista and Windows 7 with IE7/8.

We have installed OpenCA PKI 1.1.0 (Samba). Everything works fine with
Windows XP, but on Vista/Win7 we can't generate certification request.

We have imported CA certificate, we configured IE (setting security for
safety zone to Medium/Low). Everything works to the point, when we have
to choose CSR. We have got list of available CSRs, but when we click on
button 'Generate Request' we got message

"In order to create the request you need to Medium-Low the level of
security of IE by setting it in Tools -> Internet Options -> Security ->
Trusted Sites Tab."

But I have already configured this options.

And when I looked to the source of script ieVistaCSR.js, I found
excaption 0x80004002 - No such interface supported.

What does it mean? Do you have any suggestions? Any reason?

Thank you very much,

Marek Pavlicek
