Just try the enable option. At that point, before actually enabling the CRL issuing, you can set the configuration.
Another one is the "auto CRL issuing stops".
For this, I would need some more details, especially about: which version
you are using, if you applied all the patches that are available on the
wiki, and the logs (try to find where the CRL stops.. it should report
some errors..). The logs can be found in PREFIX/var/openca/log/stderr.log.
