I have exactly the same error (or something very similar), and I fixed.

In my case, the problem was because I work with openca-base, downloaded from
http://ftp.openca.org/openca-base/releases/current/sources/openca-base-1.1.0.tar.gz
(md5sum: 1db53d761386112324b0abc1c03b0a72), I got here after open the link to
the repositories from www.openca.org, and search the current version.


But, if I use the openca-base download from
http://openca.org/alby/download?target=openca-base-1.1.0.tar.gz (md5sum:
91fe3efc67631f8d4100b6ff5dae64f8), I don't have these problems.

This link it's from http://openca.org/projects/openca/openca-sources.shtml

Another question for the administrators/maintainers... Can you explain us what
is going on?
