I don't think it would be a problem, but it might be an issue if the
libs versions are different between the two systems.

I would suggest you to download the source code. It is fairly straightforward
to install it from sources, just do the following:

   $ ./configure --prefix=/opt/openca-1.1.1
   $ make
   $ sudo make install

Then to start/stop use:

   $ PREFIX/etc/init.d/openca [ start | stop | restart ]

where PREFIX is where you installed openca (/opt/openca-1.1.1). You can also
link the start/stop script in the default start/stop dir as usual:

   $ cd /etc/init.d && ln -s PREFIX/etc/init.d/openca openca

If you need to install the web-pages in a subdirectory on your server, just
use --with-httpd-main-dir=v1.1.1 so you can keep multiple installations at
the same time.
