Hi,
I've got a question regarding the communication protocols between different
CAs in OpenCA. For the time being, I have installed OpenCA on one system,
and I can access though web interface. As far as I understood, there must
be some kind of communication if I install CAs on different machines, like
between RCA and RAs. I checked the source code; the interpreter, is written
in Perl. But I don't know if the messages are being passed in XML, SOAP, or
other formats. Is there any remote APIs to call in OpenCA so that I call
them and send some messages through those APIs.
I couldn't find any information in the documentation though. I tried to
explore the source code, but I couldn't see anything .What exactly I want
to do is to add another authority, and customize it in a different way. I
mean send a new type of request to that authority and interpret it as I
want. But still, I have to use other features of OpenCA. Thus, I have
different clients, they send their requests in a format like XML or SOAP,
to be interpreted by the web server. However, I want to stick to OpenCA, as
my main framework, to be more compatible with upcoming versions.
It would be appreciated if someone share some more information in this
case, or if there are some useful links.
Thanks
