Hallo,
when I install OpenCA on RedHat all works fine. In the location
/usr/local/OpenCA/dB I find files which ends with .db - OK.
Now I installed OpenCA on SuSE 7.0. In the location /usr/local/OpenCA/dB
now I find files which ends with .dir and .pag
After the installation of OpenCA on SuSE-Linux, I generate a
CA-Certificate with the webfrontend, export this to RA, and then I
importet it into the browser. The certifcates are listed in all
databases. Then I execute in /usr/local/Openca bin/issue_certs.bin and
generate a RA-Operator-Certifcate, convert them to .p12 and export the
certicate to RA. After import into RA, this certifcate is listed in all
database correctly.
Ok, now I tried to generate a second certificate, approved this as
RA-Operator and export this request to CA (in this time all database are
OK). After the signing in CA I can export this certificate to RA and
import into the browser, but there is no entry in the databases and the
list of valid certificates in CA and RA. A look into the database shows
that it recognize the certificate (Stimated Elements:2) but there is
only one certificate (Real Elements Number: 1).
I think it is an "error" of the database perl module from SuSE, maybe
they use another database module, as RedHat???
Who as an idea ?
Thanks for your help !
Kindly regards
Gerald
P.s.: I use follow preinstalled versions of packages:
- OpenSSL 0.9.5a 1 Apr 2000
- perl 5.005_03 and later I tried version perl-5.6.0
