Hi. Please could someone help me?!
As per recent posting I have set up signed applet etc. using JRE 1.2.2
plug-in.. Narrowed question asked there down to this one...
Problem is with javax.comm (using "pure" Java driver) and signed applet
under JRE 1.2 plug-in. Wherever I try to put comm.jar, I get following
exception:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/comm/CommPortIdentifier
I got a response from last posting saying they had not been able to get this
working and reverted back to PC/SC driver. SURELY it must be possible! I
have scoured the sun homepage with no answers (though lots of people are
asking the same question!).
Is there anyone out there that has got this working? Please could you
illuminate me - I'm getting desperate!
