Hi Thomas,
you said "we used OCF on the PC to access VOP Compliant Java Cards.".
i'm currently implementing such services and find very few facilities in
OCF; release 1.2 introduces the interface SecurityDomain (in package
opencard.opt.security) but that empty interface is far from standardized
services (the OP 2.0 Card Implementation Specification provides description
of all APDU commands involved in applet loading process, does nobody write
an OCF service to wrap these commands ?)
the AppletManagerCardService interface give more specific behaviors but it
still an interface, the VISA web site doesn't provide any OCF resources,
did you plan to propose something or know if VISA is working on that ?
howover, VOP is the fundation of secure applet loading but it also provides
Card Management capabilities (meaning audit of smartcard,
configuration/contents of issued cards, ...) this will involve database
connection in heterogenous environment, does OCF interested in such services ?
regards,
Sylvain Ferey.
