I've found that the most prevalent reason for javax.comm to report no ports
is due to not having the javax.comm.properties file in the correct location.
I would verify that your javax.comm.properties file is in the jdk1.2\jre\lib
directory. Hope it helps.

Subject: [OCF] comm api: no ports found
Hello,
what can I do when commapi doesn't find any communication ports?
Other applications can access them without any problem
Thanks,
Jess Pal
