Hello friends, I am new to the OCF, however, I have to design a prototype which run on Java Card O/s. Since I have no Java experience before not to mention smart card, I have some stupid questions on the design of my prototype: 1. I have chosen Java as the language for the host application which will run on any browsers, and the host database will be MicroSoft Access. Is this a good choice? 2. In order to keep track of the Java applets that are loaded onto user's Java Card. A table will be used to store the user information vs the application ID. But in what data type should I define for the application ID? 3. The applets that will be loaded onto the Java Card will be a library application. That means a lot of information will be written on the Java Card such as items borrowed, date borrowed etc. My question is does Java support varied length data? I sincerely hope that you can help me to solve these "silly" questions! Thanks in advance.
