Yes,
   I am planning to unsubscribe from this mailing list. However, before I
do this I would like to find an up to date digest for this list so that I
could browse it periodically. The "old archive" for this mailing list
appears to only be good through September of 1999. Is there any Opencard
mailing-list digest on a website somewhere that is up to date?

Thanks,

- Craig

Subject: Antwort: [OCF] Towitoko problem

Dear Henrik,

the Giesecke&Devrient driver supports the Giesecke&Devrient PCT200 and
ICT800 terminals.
Some terminals from TOWITOKO are known to work with that driver, too.
Please note that we do not support using the TOWITOKO terminals with our
driver.

You may try whether your com port is accessible from Java at all, using the
BlackBox demo
from javax.comm.

Best regards
 Daniel Ciesinger

I can't run the demo samples provided with OCF.
I'm using a Towitoko card reader and the G&D drivers.

I try to run demos.samples.GetTerminalInfos and get the following error
messages:
com.gieseckedevrient.opencard.terminal.io.SerialIO::init: Cannot create tty
object - no port identifiers found!
CardTerminalException:
com.gieseckedevrient.opencard.terminal.GDCardTerminal::createIOAgent:
Cannot construct I/O agent instance.

My opencard.properties file looks like this:
OpenCard.terminals =
com.gieseckedevrient.opencard.terminal.GDCardTerminalFactory|ifd_1|PCT200|1
(using Com port 1)

Could anyone please help me with this problem?

/Henrik
