I have had better luck using PC/SC with Windows 2000 Professional
on my laptop with Schlumberger Reflex 20 (manufactured by SCM
Microsystems). I was pleasantly surprised when I inserted the
PCMCIA card reader and Windows 2000 recognized it. I then installed
OCF 1.2 using the Java installer which setup the correct properties
file and the samples are working fine.
