Herman,
I didn't manage to find this class in the OCF 1.2 distribution. I wonder if
it is in that export restricted portion (I couldn't download it as I am
outside US and Canada). If you have access to it, try examining the jar
files in $YOUR_OCF_INSTALL_DIR/OCF1.2/lib with
jar -tf <file.jar>
Also, it may be the case that IBM provides a separate jar file in its site
that you should download. For example, I downloaded specific jar files from
Gemplus for my GPK cards that weren't in the OCF distribution (and others
that were updated).
Good luck.
Regards,
Douglas

Subject: [OCF] OCF 1.2 question: Where is ibmservices.jar (or
MFC41SecureMessenger.class)?
Hi,
I'm new to OCF.
I downloaded all material for OCF 1.2 and I have a copy of the "Smart Card
Application development using Java" book and its demo card. (An IBM MFC
card)
When I execute:
FileAccessCardService facs = (FileAccessCardService)
sc.getCardService(FileAccessCardService.class, true);
I get java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com.ibm.opencard.access.MFC41SecureMessenger
The README-IBMCardServices.html refers to a ibmservices.jar.
Where can I get this jar ?
