In fact, you seem to be using some java applet in order to sign
your data. So that might guide your choice, as if you want to use
a Gemplus card to sign data, you have two choices:

 - use GPK8000 cards, which are ISO7816-4 cards (i.e., the OS
is filesystem-based, not javacard) and include all crypto
functionnalities. In this case, you'll find CardServices
on our developer's web (see my previous post).

Also, the reference documentation found in the development
kit will give all details on how to issue and administrate your
cards (e.g., key generation, load personal details, pin-codes,
etc. and when issued unlock cards, update cards, etc.). For very
big quantities, Gemplus has personalization services and facilities,
but you can also set up your own center.
   (see http://www.gemplus.com/products/microprocessor/gpk.htm)

or

 - use GemXpresso 211 PK cards, which are Javacard 2.1 (and VOP
2.0.1.b) cards that also include crypto features, and as the
cryptography APIs are standardized by JavaCard, you should be
able to easily "port" your application, so I would rather suggest
   this solution.

In this case, you will need to ask for a "GemXpresso RAD 211/PK V2.4"
kit, which will contain everything you need: cards, a reader,
documentation (that will give details on command to load
applets, unblock that card, etc.), and the relevant OCF CardServices
to use the cards (e.g., VOP CardServices that allow to load applets)
as the GemXpresso RAD is based on OCF.

Hope this will help.

Cheers,
Christophe.
