Hi,

The GemXpresso 211 simulators does behave as a card in that way that
they simulate the Javacard API, the OpenPlatform API and the Cryptographic
features is there's one.

As far as I know, the Javacard simulator provided by Sun is only Javacard.
It
does not support OpenPlatform.

Debugging your applet in a Gemplus simulator is the same as running it on a
card,
even in a GemXpresso 211 PK card simulator where you can generate KeyPairs,
Sign, Hash, ...

To answer accurately your question ... yes, the GemXpresso 211 PK card
simulator
does simulate the cryptoprocessor as well ...
