I am very new to smart cards and in need of some guidance regarding the OCF Reference Implementation and the sample programs. I have purchased Hansmann, et al.'s book and the ReadFile demonstration asks for the CHV of the card included in the book. Not finding the CHV anywhere I made a few incorrect guesses. I would imagine that the card is now blocked. How do I un block the card and what might the correct PIN be? I am using a GCR410 reader. I have set the opencard.propterties as follows: OpenCard.terminals = com.ibm.opencard.terminal.pcsc10.Pcsc10CardTerminalFactory if I were to set it to: OpenCard.terminals = com.gemplus.opencard.terminal.GemplusCardTerminalFactory|mygcr|GCR410|COM1 as directed to in the literature the demo breaks claiming that it cannot find the class even though it is in my classpath. Why? Finally, I am running this under Windows and would like to do the same under Linux. I have a driver running for the card but am unable to connect from the demo applications (GetCardId, etc) has anyone experience in this that can direct me.
