Sure! With the IBMMFC:
Use external authentication (with a 3DES key) for messages up to 8 byte.
Writing a longer message in a file and then reading it back in Encrypted
mode should work with some IBMMFCs (I believe a specific flag needs to be
set upon initialisation; not everyone may be able to do this).
