Hi,
We have installed GCR410P reader and drivers ( pc/sc driver which we
downloaded from the Gemplus site )
We have JDK and COMMAPI installed.
We have WIN98 as our OS
We want to try to use OCF to communicate with the card. WE have IBM's MFC
with sample applets loaded on to it.
We have "GemCheck.exe"(got this when we downloaded Drivers for terminal)
which is a program to check if the reader is working properly( correct
drivers installed or not) and to get ATR from Card if inserted .We are able
to read the ATR from the card through this exe.
But talking to applet on the card using the OCF compliant application is not
working. It is failing at the SmartCard.start() itself.
Could anybody who knows answer , please reply?
Also I would like to know
when should we use readers.cfg ? What should be the entries in the file?
Do we need to modify it?
I Read somewhere( In the mail archive), that PC/SC locks the reader? What
does it mean? What is the solution for this....( my OS is WIN98)
