Aloha Ro,

I don't know how closely you are following events on the HyperCard List. A
group is forming under the primary auspices of Alain Farmer and the UFP
LIst, whose goal is to create an open source tool of personal empowerment
similar to HyperCard. The project name is OpenCard.

The group must determine, among other things, the programming platform
OpenCard will will be developed on, and someone suggested writing a
HyperTalk to C/C++ converter.

At one of the last AHUG meetings I attended, literature was distributed
regarding a new tool by Tom Pittman, which (if I remember correctly) did
this and more.

Do you know what I'm referring to?

Is it a Royal Software Product?

If so, can you tell me more about it?

If not, can you direct my inquiriy to Tom?

TIA,

PS: Which island are you living on? My sister raised her childern on seven
acres near Hanapepe, Kauai.

Without HyperCard, "Think Different" = "Run Microsoft Office on an iMac
instead of a Compaq"
