I was thinking that as a practice project for OpenTalk we could perhaps
start by doing something really simple with the OpenTalk interpreter. One
thing that jumps to mind would be making the WASTE Text Edit Demo
scriptable with OpenTalk. This would allow us to (1) test chunk expressions
(2) set and get values in a container i.e. the text window (3) Set the
font, size, style and colour of text. (4) play around a bit by writing
find/replace and text formatting functions in OpenTalk.

This seems like a good preliminary step to take because (1) the code for
the application is already written and is free (2) We don't need to
write a
whole application with cards, stacks and objects (3) it is a simple and
practical application for OpenTalk (4) It would be good practice for us to
collaborate on a much smaller scale project.
